Brand & E-Commerce Launch forMerzo New York

A new luxury bag brand needed a complete foundation—pattern, logo, packaging, visuals, and an online store—built from scratch. We handled every stage of brand creation, ensuring visual distinctiveness and operational reliability from design to post-launch maintenance.

Background

Merzo entered the market with strong creative ambition but limited reliable partners. Their early catalog shoot was complete, yet no one could deliver a Shopify store at the pace and precision they demanded. The brand sought full control over layout, visuals, and function—without compromise on speed.

They approached Litplus Creatives initially for a single pattern design inspired by Tory Burch’s style. That small brief evolved into a full brand-build. We created a distinctive monogram pattern, extended it into logo, packaging, and product presentation, and later developed and launched their Shopify store within tight timelines.

Challenges

Building for control and speed meant balancing precision with practicality.

  • Creative expansion: The project started from a single pattern request and evolved into a full identity system mid-process.

  • Time compression: They required the complete e-commerce setup within days, not weeks.

  • Operational friction: After launch, fake orders began to surface—causing shipping losses and backend confusion.

  • Limited SEO scope: The client prioritized visual control over optimization depth, requiring compliance without altering their creative intent.

Solution

We treated the project as a sequence of tightly-managed phases:

Phase 1 — Pattern Foundation
Developed multiple prototypes for the monogram, testing geometry, scale, and visual rhythm. Finalized a proprietary motif distinct from references yet equally premium.

Final Pattern

Phase 2 — Identity & Color Development
Constructed the logo system after the pattern—reversing the usual order—to ensure both spoke the same visual language. Explored multiple color palettes through digital proofs until tones aligned with material finishes.

Phase 3 — Packaging Design
Applied the pattern and logo to box structures, inserts, and dust bags. Focused on tactile perception and contrast so packaging photographed well for online retail.

Phase 4 — Shopify Development
Delivered a custom-built store optimized for the client’s preferred user flow. Implemented control panels for fast product updates and flexible layout editing.

Phase 5 — After-Sales Support
Provided six months of maintenance, analytics oversight, and operational troubleshooting. Introduced process checks that stopped fake-order dispatches and stabilized fulfillment.

Phase 6 — Visual Content Creation
Produced product and editorial visuals that reflected material quality and design nuance—positioning Merzo above typical local fashion labels while staying affordable within the Pakistani luxury bracket.

Results

  • Full brand ecosystem completed and launched within the client’s original timeline.

  • Unified aesthetic from packaging to platform, with consistent tone across all visuals.

  • Shopify operations stabilized post-launch through proactive service support.

  • Client satisfaction sustained over six months of post-launch partnership.

  • Brand successfully positioned as an attainable-luxury label—premium in presentation yet priced for the local market.
