Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Social Media Account Associate to support our Senior Social Media Account Manager in executing comprehensive social media strategies for our e-commerce clients. This entry-level work from home role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, eager to learn, and ready to take on a wide range of tasks to ensure the success of our campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, a creative mindset, and a willingness to collaborate closely with the senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support in Strategic Social Media Management:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies under the guidance of the Senior Social Media Account Manager.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform social media strategies.
    • Schedule and post content across various platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines and brand guidelines.
  2. Content Creation and Collaboration:
    • Work with AI tools like ChatGPT for generating post captions and content ideas.
    • Assist in the creation of visual content by collaborating with graphic designers, ensuring that all content meets the brand’s aesthetic standards.
    • Help in the production of content that aligns with the client’s brand voice and engages the target audience.
  3. Community Engagement and Management:
    • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages promptly.
    • Assist in implementing strategies to increase follower engagement and loyalty.
    • Participate in managing feedback and addressing community concerns under the supervision of the Senior Social Media Account Manager.
  4. Ad Campaign Assistance:
    • Support the planning and execution of social media ad campaigns.
    • Assist in analyzing ad performance data, providing insights to the Senior Social Media Account Manager for campaign optimization.
    • Collaborate with the performance marketing team to ensure that ad campaigns align with overall marketing strategies.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics.
    • Prepare basic reports on campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement rates, contributing to the Senior Social Media Account Manager’s reports.
    • Use data to suggest potential adjustments and improvements to ongoing campaigns.
  6. Trend Monitoring and Learning:
    • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Actively participate in continuous learning and development opportunities provided by the company.
  7. Client Relationship Support:
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates on social media activities.
    • Assist in understanding client needs and preferences, ensuring their expectations are met.
    • Participate in client meetings and shoots when required, offering support to the Senior Social Media Account Manager.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in social media management or digital marketing. Internship experience or a portfolio demonstrating a keen interest and basic knowledge in the field is acceptable.
  • Commitment: This position requires full attention and dedication during working hours (12 pm to 8 pm). Candidates must be free from other full-time commitments to ensure availability and performance.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to dynamic work requirements, including urgent requests and last-minute changes.
  • Work Environment: Work-from-home position with required work hours from 12 pm to 8 pm. A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment are essential.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in social media platforms, understanding of AI tools like ChatGPT, and familiarity with basic analytics tools.
  • Creative Skills: A strong interest in social media content creation, with an eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and interpret social media data for reports and strategy development.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
